    The difference really starts with you. There are many ways to make a difference in the lives of people affected by disease. By making a donation, no matter the size, you are ensuring that people around the world have what they need to survive and recover.

  • How can I work or volunteer for Life Care Foundation?

    To view our current and anticipated openings, visit the employment page on our website. When you find an opening that matches your skill set, submit your resume along with the online application. You will be contacted by one of our Human Resources representatives for an interview if your qualifications meet our current needs.

  • How does Life Care Foundation ensure the safety of its staff?

    Life Care Foundation has security staff at both the HQ and field level trained to deal with a variety of emergency situations. All staff members sent to the field, no matter the length of the assignment, receive security briefings tailored to the area where they are to work.

  • Why do you have programs other than healthcare?

    Life Care Foundation takes a holistic approach to health. We believe medical care is just one component of good health. For example, without clean water and nutritious food, there cannot be good health.

  • How much of my donation goes to Life Care Foundation programs?

    85% of donations go to support our programs in the field.

  • Where does Life Care Foundation get its funding?

    Life Care Foundation receives funding from public and private sources. Our work would not be possible without the generosity of corporations, foundations, government agencies and individuals like you.

  • How is Life Care Foundation different from other nonprofits?

    Unlike many other relief organizations, we stay long after the crisis has ended, providing training and tools to help communities fully recover, regain their footing and move forward on the path to self-reliance. We believe that no emergency response effort is complete without passing on the skills and resources that people need to be able to care of themselves.

    We work wherever the need takes us. We have worked in more than 8 regions in Tanzania.

    We are a nonprofit relief and development organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through medical services, training, relief and development programs. We not only respond to emergencies, but we use innovative programs to tackle the world’s most difficult challenges, such as disease.
